I saw this tour HoB Hollywood. He phoned it in, kinda stoned. Two guys mentioned near me "Bad Brains Karaoke". I replied: "All of these young guys will be able to tell their grandkids in 2075 that they got to mosh to the BB." Is it like 1980 or 87? No. (Old DC guy here) But bands like this will not exist in 2075.

So all this commentary about why the Pixies are now on their third bassist? Has anyone considered just how damn hard it is playing bass for the Pixies. Its the backbone of their sound. Its what drives them. And the backing vocals too?.Ive been with them since the start and they've never sounded better. I think both Paz and Kim have to be a little envious.

The question is how many bassists will they go through? I was looking at the new girl and thought Paz cut her hair? At 66 its getting hard to keep up. I remember seeing them open for Love and Rockets in 87. What a night. Wow the setlist for this show. Its like they took my absolute favorites and just reeled them off on after another.
